Vicky joined EMEC as a Senior Ecologist in 2022, having previously worked as a Wildlife Lead Advisor in the licensing team at Natural England. Vicky has worked in ecological consultancy for most of her career, starting as an Assistant Ecologist in 2015. She holds a first-class honours degree in Biology, a certificate in Ecological Consultancy and is registered to use the Level 2 Class licence to survey for bats, and Level 1 Class licence to survey for great crested newt. Vicky is also an Associate member of CIEEM and holds a CSCS card for working on construction sites.

In her role, Vicky leads and reports on a range of habitat and protected species surveys and has worked on mitigation licences for bats, including as the Named Ecologist.

In her spare time Vicky enjoys volunteering with her local bat group and learning new plant species whilst out walking her dog, Dil.
