Edd joined EMEC in 2023 as an Assistant Ecologist and was promoted to Ecologist in 2025. In his role, he leads small-scale projects, carries out ecological surveys, and produces technical reports to help clients meet planning and biodiversity requirements.

With an MSc in Biodiversity Conservation from Nottingham Trent University, Edd made a career switch from the retail sector to follow his passion for conservation. Since joining EMEC, he has embraced every opportunity to develop his skills in applied ecology, underpinned by a strong commitment to protecting the natural world.
