EMEC’s land management team can undertake the installation of nest boxes and roost boxes for birds, bats and invertebrates. This could be as mitigation in preparation for development works or as habitat enhancement. Our team will select the most suitable products for the species on the site and install these in appropriate locations.

As well as installation of groups of smaller boxes, our team are also experienced in the placement and construction of larger units, including bat houses and bat hibernation boxes.

Working with EMEC’s in-house entomologists, the land management team can also install boxes suited to invertebrates and create bee banks and other features to support rare invertebrates.

EMEC Ecology are able to provide a bat, bird or invertebrate survey should one be required.
